Трекер сна и будильник · Sleep Tracker & Alarm · Last updated September 27, 2026
Sleep Tracker listens while you sleep. That is the whole point of the app, and it is also the thing you should be able to check before you trust it with a night. This policy says exactly what the microphone does, where the audio goes and how long it stays. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising.
The microphone, in detail
While a night is being recorded, the app listens continuously. It does not save the night as one long recording. It saves only short clips of the loud moments — a snore, a cough, someone talking — a few seconds each.
- Clips and everything else about the night stay on your iPhone. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- The sounds are named — snoring, breathing, coughing, talking — in the morning, by Apple's own sound classifier running on your device. Nothing is sent away to be recognised.
- Clips the classifier could not name are deleted as soon as the report is built.
- The clips that remain are deleted automatically after 14 days. You can delete any night yourself at any time in History, and deleting the app deletes everything.
- Recording only runs while a night is in progress. It starts when you tap to begin and stops when you end the night.
Movement
The app reads the accelerometer during the night to tell whether the bed moved. It records one number per minute. It is not location data — the accelerometer cannot tell where you are.
What else stays on your device
Your language, alarm settings, chosen sounds, bedtime, the nights you have recorded and their reports are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
Usage analytics
We use Amplitude to understand how the app is used and improve it. Amplitude receives:
- In-app actions: onboarding steps, the language and the sleep problem you choose, whether you allowed the microphone, when a night starts and finishes, how long it was, its score and how many sounds it kept, when you open the report, and when you play a recorded sound — the label of the sound only, such as "snoring", never the audio.
- Premium activity: when the Premium screen is shown or closed, which plan you tap, and whether a purchase, trial, cancellation or restore happened, with the product name and your App Store country. Whether Premium is active on your device.
- The star rating you give when asked for feedback, but not the feedback text.
- Device information sent with every event: a random device identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, language, and an approximate location derived from the IP address.
No audio, and nothing derived from the content of your recordings beyond those labels, ever leaves your device. We never set a user ID, never use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and never send anything you type. This data is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and it is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether Premium is active on your device. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier. We never see your payment details.
Feedback
If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your star rating, the text you write, the app language, the app version and the iOS version. Please do not include personal information you do not want us to see.
Health
Sleep Tracker describes your night. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing in it should be used to make a decision about your health. If something about your sleep worries you, talk to a doctor.
What we do not do
- We do not upload, listen to or store your recordings anywhere outside your iPhone.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location or photos.
Third-party services
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can delete a single night in History, and you can delete everything by deleting the app. You can withdraw microphone access at any time in iOS Settings — the alarm and the app still work, but nights will no longer be recorded. To ask us to delete analytics or feedback data related to your device, email us at the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
